Studio Spotlight : Ale Now Design Rebrand Refresh

There’s something powerful about a rebrand that doesn’t erase the past, but simply it refines it. When Ale Now Design reached out to update her visual presence, the goal wasn’t to become someone new, but to show up more clearly as who she already is. Someone who is confident, intentional, and design-forward.

This rebranding refresh centered on studio portraits that feel elevated, modern, and unmistakably aligned with Ale Design’s evolved identity.

Why a Studio Portrait Refresh Matters in a Rebrand

A rebrand is important because our businesses evolve with us! So while you are picking out your new logo and color palette it s important to also think of your brand photography. Ale discussed how her life looks so different with being a mom and that reflects into her brand as well. Your photos are what makes your brand feel human. I think that studio portraits are perfect for this because it also gives you the most flexibility to create graphics with your images.

Planning her Session

Through voice memos Ale explained to me how she wanted an elevated and approachable look. She sent me mood boards and we talked about creating something that was timeless that would compliment her brands work. With her rebrand she also brought in some merch and business cards that I think really emphasized this refresh to her business as a designer.

Let’s Talk Props

I get asked a lot on what to bring to a session, and it really depends on the person. Ale brought her mood board that she felt was very important to how she works with her clients, her phone and laptop are her tools of the trade and are great images to use on social media as well as her site. I also think the addition of books worked perfectly with her overall feel of her brand and gives her clients a little glimpse into a relatable vibe.

The final portraits feel refined yet approachable. Giving Ale imagery that communicates trust, creativity, and expertise. My goal as a photographer is to give you images that feel like you, and I really think we accomplished curating images that feel like Ale Now Designs.
